Lancaster ISD and First Financial Group of America would like to take this opportunity to present to you the benefit information for the 2011/2012 plan year. This informational website has been created to bring forth a brief overview of your benefit choices as well as offer you a reference guide when questions arise regarding your insurance plans.

Important Information for 2011!

  • The Plan Year for Lancaster ISD is September 1, 2011 – August 31, 2012.
  • Click Here to view the 2011 Spring Enrollment Schedule to see when First Financial will be at your campus.
  • Metlife will be the new dental provider for the 2011/12 School Year.  Employees currently enrolled in the Ameritas Dental must enroll in the new Metlife plan to have coverage for the 2011/12 Schoool Year.
  • Metlife will be the new Long-Term Disability Insurance provider for the 2011/12 School Year.  Employees currently enrolled in the American Fidelity Disability plan must enroll in the new Metlife plan to have coverage for the 2011/12 School Year. 
  • There will be an Open Enrollment on the Long Term Disability Insurance.  All employees can come on the plan this year, without answering health questions,  pre-existing limitations may apply.
  •  The annual maximum for Medical Reimbursement is $3,600 ($300 per month).
  • Starting January 1st, 2011, all Over-the-Counter items eligible for reimbursement must be accompanied by a doctor’s prescription and reimbursement request claim form. OCT Claims may no longer be purchased using the FFA Benefits Debit Card. Click Here for more information regarding this change. 
  • The annual maximum for Dependent Care Reimbursement is $5,000 ($416.66 per month).
  • The annual maximum contribution amount for 403(b)’s for 2010 is $16,500. All LISD employees are eligible to participate in and make contributions to a 403b. Contact your 403(b) Account Representative or contact First Financial’s Retirement Services Department with questions regarding your account or how to setup an account.
