This informational website has been created to bring forth a brief overview of your benefit choices as well as offer you a reference guide when questions arise regarding your insurance plans.

Important Information for 2012/2013
Open Enrollment for the 2012/2013 Plan Year for Supplemental Benefits
- Open enrollment will be held March 30th – April 5th. Representatives will be in the district assist in the enrollment process.
- The plan year for Kilgore ISD is September 1 – August 31.
What’s New for 2012
- Metlife will be the new disability provider for KISD. Existing Disbility participants MUST re-enroll if this coverage if they wish to continue coverage past August 31, 2012.
- The annual maximum for Medical Reimbursement is decreasing from $3,600 to $2,500. This decrease is part of the Healthcare Reform Act of 2010.
- Effective September 1, 2012 the deductible for the Dental Insurance will also apply to Type 1 Dental Services.
Other Information for the 2012/2013 Plan Year
- The annual maximum for Dependent Care Reimbursement is $5,000 ($416.67 per month).
- You can access your Flexible Spending Account online. (You must setup a login/password to access your account). The Group Number for KISD is 54097.
