Granbury ISD and First Financial Group of America would like to take this opportunity to present to you the benefit information for the 2011/2012 plan year. This informational website has been created to bring forth a brief overview of your benefit choices as well as offer you a reference guide when questions arise regarding your insurance plans.

Important Information for 2011/2012

Open Enrollment for the 2011/2012 Plan Year for Supplemental Benefits

  • Open enrollment will be held October 10 – October. Representatives will be in the district assist in the enrollment process.  Click here to view the meeting and enrollment schedule.

  • The plan year for Granbury ISD is December 1, 2011 - November 30, 2012. 
  • This year you will have the option to enroll in your benefits online. Click here to view enrollment instructions.
    • Login: Your social security number (#########)
    • PIN: Last four of your social security number and the last two of the year you were
      born (######)

 What’s New for 2011/2012

  • Block Vision will be the new vision provider.  You must re-enroll in this plan to continue coverage past January 31, 2011
  • New for 2011, a Criticial Illness policy through Humana.
  • A new Term Life policy will be available to all employees, the spouses and dependent children
  • Humana will be the new cancer provider.  Existing Allstate employees can keep their policies on payroll deduction.
  •  There have been some enhancements to the disability plan. New riders have been added. See the brochure online or your First Financial Rep. while they are in the district.

Other Information for the 2011/2012 Plan Year

  • The annual maximum for Medical Reimbursement is $4,800 ($400 per monht).
  • Employees enrolled in both the dental plan and medical reimbursement will not have their dental expenditures reimbursed if paid for with the flex funds.
  • The annual maximum for Dependent Care Reimbursement is $5,000 ($416.67 per month).
  • You can access your Flexible Spending Account online. (You must setup a login/password to access your account). The Group Number for GISD is 53097.
  • The annual maximum contribution amount for 403(b)’s for 2011 is $16,500. All ISD employees are eligible to participate in and make contributions to a 403b. Contact your 403(b) Account Representative or contact First Financial’s Retirement Services Department with questions regarding your account or how to setup an account.
  • The annual maximum contribution amount for 457′s for 2011 is $16,500. Contact your First Financial Account Manager at (800) 883-0007 to enroll in or make changes to an existing 457 account.
