Corsicana ISD and First Financial Group of America would like to take this opportunity to present to you the benefit information for the 2011/2012 plan year. This informational website has been created to bring forth a brief overview of your benefit choices as well as offer you a reference guide when questions arise regarding your insurance plans.

Important Information

Open enrollment for the 2011/2012 Plan Year for Supplemental Benefits

  • First Financial Administrators is the new Third Party Administrator for CISD.
  • Open Enrollment for the 2011/2012 Plan Year is scheduled for May 24th – June 3rd.
  • The Plan Year for CISD is September 1, 2011 – August 31, 2012.
  • The Annual Maximum for Medical Reimbursement is $3,000.
  • The Annual Maximum for Dependent Care Reimbursement is $5,000.

There will be new Disability and Dental Providers for the 2011/2012 Plan Year

  • American Fidelity will be the new Long Term Disability Provider.  You must reenroll to continue coverage for the 2011/2012 Plan Year.
  • Ameritas will be the new Dental Provider.  You must reenroll to continue coverage for the 2011/2012 Plan Year.

Additional Information

  • Employees currently participating in a Flexible Spending Account must reenroll in the plan for the 2011/2012 Plan Year
  • Starting January 1st, 2011, all Over-the-Counter items eligible for reimbursement must be accompanied by a doctor’s prescription and reimbursement request claim form. OTC Claims may no longer be purchased using the FFA Benefits Debit Card. Click Here for more information regarding this change.
  • The annual maximum contribution amount for 403(b)’s for 2011 is $16,500. All CISD employees are eligible to participate in and make contributions to a 403b. Contact your 403(b) Account Representative or contact First Financial’s Retirement Services Department with questions regarding your account or how to setup an account.
  • Beginning September 1, 2011 you can Click Here to access your Flexible Spending Account. (You must setup a login/password to access your account).  The Group Number for CISD is unavailable at this time.
