Group Life Insurance

Group life insurance allows you to purchase affordable life insurance on yourself, spouse and dependent children. This is term insurance, available as long as you are an employee with the District.

• Employee can apply for up to $100,000
• No cash value accumulates
• Spouse and Dependent Child(ren) can also apply

BISD provides a $30,000 employer paid group life policy on all eligible employees. This plan also includes an AD & D (Accidental Death and Dismemberment) benefit that would double your benefit if death wa due to an accident.
