Dental Insurance
There are two dental plans available to BISD employees and their families. The Low option dental plan is a scheduled benefit plan that allows you to see any dentist you wish. Greater benefits and discounts available if you go to an In-network provider. This plan includes Child Orthodontia.
The High plan is an Indemnity plan that pays a benefit for various types of dental services. This plan allows you to see any dentist you wish. Greater benefits and discounts available if you go to an In-network provider. This plan includes Child Orthodontia.
New employees will have a 3 month waiting period for Type 3 dental procedures and child orthodontia.
